As a Focus 2020 attendee, you will be able to enjoy a unique, interactive learning experience from the comfort and convenience of your home or office.

Your link and login credentials will be emailed to you from Focus Travel Headquarters (Maritz Travel) on Monday, August 17.

AccessFocus 2020 goes live Monday, August 17.

Be Ready

1. Ensure you are running a supported browser (see image)

Logging In

1. Early Access emails will be sent on Monday, August 17. Bookmark that link in your browser and keep that email accessible as it has both the link and your login credentials to access Focus 2020.

2. Click on the link to access Focus 2020.

3. You may be redirected to a System Check that will ensure your browser is supported and pop-up blockers are turned off. If your pop-up blockers are enabled, follow the directions in your browser

to change the settings to “always allow for this website”

4. Once you have completed the System Check, you will be redirected to the Focus 2020 Login Page.

5. Use your email and passcode from your Early Access email to log in.

Your Profile

1. Profile: To edit your profile, begin by clicking “Profile” from the top right circle on the navigation bar. Upload a profile picture and be on your way to winning prizes!

2. Conversation History: Access your messages (direct email in the platform), your one to one chat history, and vCard or virtual business cards. Address information will be seen only by attendees whom you send your vCard.

3. Documents: Find and download documents you saved from visiting the Expo.

4. Prizes: Track your badge progress to earn points and win prizes.

Profile is where you can add information, check messages, access documents, and see prize progress.

If you receive an email, chat request, Vcard, or announcement, you will be notified via a communication bubble that will display in the upper right hand corner of your screen. By clicking on the communication notification, you will be taken to the indicated item.

There are 3 types of private communication:1. Messages – These emails are accessible only inside

the platform. You can download your message history. A notification will display you have an unread email. Click on the notification window to view.

2. Chats – If you receive a chat request you will be able to accept or decline the request. You may also send a short message to the chat requester when declining a chat. You can download individual conversations.

3. vCards – This is your virtual business card. You can send them to any contact you search. A notification will display you have a new vCard. Click on the notification window to view.

Lobby

1. Navigation Bar: Access the different spaces in the event.

2. Lobby: You can return to the lobby by clicking on “Lobby” in the navigation bar.

3. Search: You can use the search feature to find attendees, sponsors, documents/links and presentations/webcasts within the event.

After logging into Focus 2020, you will be taken to the Lobby area. From the Lobby, you can visit the main areas of the event by clicking on their listing or utilizing the navigation bar.

Add to Agenda: Add sessions to your agenda up until 30 minutes prior to their start time

Add to Calendar: After adding a session to your agenda, download a calendar reminder

Filter: Categorize resources by subject matter.

View/Save: View a file or save a file to your Documents for review at your convenience.

Documents: Saving to your Documents is not the same as saving the document to your computer. Please click on ‘Download’ to do so.

Lounge

Join the public chat and network with other advisors, home office staff, and sponsors. Click on an attendee’s name and you can direct chat to continue a one on one conversation.
