The Roadblocks

At first there were struggles

WE struggled to KEEP up and maintainhigh quality instruction ONLINE

The students struggled with the newmethod of delivery

There was a power struggle in theclassroom with threats of a mutiny

The Workarounds

Students’ requested time “IN THECLASSROOM” to freely ask questions as agroup before graded homework was turnedin.

We have had to allow access to lectures atschool and in some cases dump them on jumpdrives

Where are we now?

Some students still do not like it (But theylive with it!)

Most students are fully on board and havebecome more responsible in their ownlearning.

Some students have expressed how they havelearned to better navigate a math text becauseof the setup of the course

Where are wegoing?

We and our students realize that this is goingto be a work-in-progress

We are constantly asking for feedback andevaluating ourselves so we can better serveour students

We are looking to FLIP other courses weteach

By year three, we would like to have thecourse self-paced
