Test plans and procedures The first flight of our scale model occurred
January 17, 2009. The full scale rocket was flown on March 14,
2009 Video footage from March 28:

Dual deploymentavionics test We successfully tested the avionics
in both rockets and we are using the same equipment in the full sized rocket with an added G-Wiz flight computer back up system.

Ejection chargeamount test
We used .75 grams of black powder in the scaled down rocket. We calculated this using the uroc.org black powder calculation website: http://uroc.org/index.php?option=com_wrapper&Itemid=628
We used 1.4 grams of black powder for the drogue parachute and 1.7 grams of black powder for the main parachute. We used the black powder calculator on: http://www.info-central.org/recovery_powder.shtml
