Instruments model EDM 830-4c Engine Data Management system using STC SA2586NM as a reference.This installation is to enhance the aircraft safety, reliability, and performance by providing an additional means formonitoring engine performance data, fuel consumption data, and prediction of fuel endurance. The data system willmonitor EGT, CHT, MAP, Oil Temp, Oil Pressure, Voltage, OAT, Carb Temp, RPM, and %HP in addition to fuelconsumption data.(Note that primary panel mounted oil temperature and oil pressure gauges and tachometer remainoperationaL) This instrument, which includes a fuel flow management system as part of the overall engine datamanagement system, is replacing an existing JPI FS-450 Fuel Flow system that was previously installed on a fieldapproval dated 22 July, 2010. However, American Champion Aircraft Corporation Models 7GCBC, 7ECA, 7GCBA, 7GCAA, and7KCAB are specifically approved. These approved aircraft are all manufactured under the same Type Certificate A-759as the model 7AC. These AML aircraft are all later versions of the Aeronca 7AC in which electrical systems wereinstalled. The Aeronca 7AC never originally had an electrical system. The Aeronca 7EC was the first Aeronca aircraftmodel to have an electrical system. N-3129E has an upgraded instrument panel already approved under a separatefield approval dated 25 May 2010. N-3129E also has a battery powered electrical system already approved under aseparate field approval dated 25 May 2010. The instructions and recomendations of the STC were all followed for the »
