The purpose of this study is to determine the level of free fatty acid by using sugarcane waste. The result of this study is expected to add the value of sugarcane as an alternative material to maintain oil quality. The result showed that the sugarcanes content can reduce the acid level. The best conditions is the addition of sugarcane onto waste cooking oil with the results of 2,56 acid level and the oil color become brighter. Nyak Arif Fatih Bilingual School Tittle of Inventions : The Purification Of Wasted Cooking Oil Using Corncob Description orn contains a lot of carbon compounds, namely cellulose. One of the uses of the cellulose in corn is as an adsorbent. In this study, we use the wasted part of the corn to purify called corncob. The results showed that corncob can purify the wasted cooking oil. FFA level produced in the refined oil is 0,65% (low mass 3x24 hours). People are now moving from using neon lamp and start to use LED lamp which needs less energy with longer lifetime. HPL Luxeon is one of the high power LED which needs only 3 watt power with 3.2 volt. The brightness is almost equal to neon lamp with higher wattage. The problem of luxeon is that it can easily get hot. So a heat sink needs to be attached to it to remove the heat. In this research the heat from luxeon is then recycled and used to heat the water in pipeline system. The water will get hot and can be used in the morning for taking bath. Since luxeon needs only 3.2 volt, we can use an old but still working Handphone charger to convert 220 volt into 5 v. A resistor is attached in series with luxeon and the potential divider. To make sure that the water circulates, we can use simple water pump commonly used in fish tanks. In the future, if this HER LAMP system is used in all house lighting system, the heat will be enough to heat up all the


water in the water tank. So we can save the money and even we can get warm water in the morning Country : Indonesia Inventor : Adam Wilson Autan Institution : Narada School Tittle Of Inventions : Heat Energy Recycler For Ac (Her Ac) Description oday AC unit has become a standard and compulsory appliances for any buildings, especially in big cities. AC can bring comfort to the people in the building. However, dont we realize that the AC unit basic working principle is only to bring out the heat from the room to the environment. In other word, we are heating up the environment. The number of AC unit used is increasing year by year. Can you imagine the future impact of this growing number AC unit to the environment? Besides, the more AC units we use, the higher electricity bill we need to pay. In this research, the heat from the AC is going to be recycled into electricity using Peltier unit technology. The heat is captured using heat sink attached to hot side of Peltier unit. The cold side of Peltier unit is attached to the second heat sink. This second heat sink is cooled by running water delivered in a pipe by rope pump from a basin placed under the AC unit. The rope pump is driven by the rotation of the cooling fan. The number of Peltier unit used can be more than 1 and they need to be connected in series to rise the output voltage. The output electricity is then stored in a rechargable battery for other uses. By far, this prototype still uses 1 Peltier unit and the voltage produced is still low, about 0.1V on average each unit. With the help of Joule Thief and installing more peltier unit, we can increase the output voltage. But the plus point of this invention is it needs low cost of production and operation, and it is environmentally friendly. If it can be more developed, even in the future we do not need to be worried of our high household electricity bill anymore, do we? This research is aimed to determine the amount of calcium and iron in the water spinach (kangkung in Indonesian). The sample in this research is water spinach taken in Tungkop, Aceh Besar. Each sample is made to a solution 3 times by the destruction method using concentrated nitric acid (). The independent variable in this research is the water spinach, and the dependent variables are the amounts of calcium and iron in the water spinach which is defined in % w/w. From the data analysis, we get the amount of calcium in destructed water spinach by concentrated to be (0.0723 0.0631) % w/w, the amount of iron in the same water spinach is (0.00220.0039)% w/w. The contents of e-module consists of videos, audios, animations, questions/tests simulations, and games. Questions/tests simulations can be used offline or online. When the students operate a question/test simulation online, the answers will be sent to the teachers email automatically to be monitored. Video and animation illustrate the contents material, completed with subtitles, audio instructions, and other particulars that may help explain to students. Video content is edited using AVS Video Editor 6.5 software, whereas the animation is created using Microsoft Office PowerPoint and Macromedia Flash Professsional 8 combined with Sothink SWF Decompiler. Video on e-module HTML format can be maximized into fullscreen. The sharp and attractive front-back cover on e- module are created using Adobe Photoshop CS3. Text and images are created in Microsoft Office Word and saved in PDF format. Topic on this e-module is indexed, so it is easier for users to go to another page or intended text directly. Relevant educational games are downloaded from the internet and embedded as flash animation, so it can be used by students online without losing an essence of learning. Finally, all the contents of e-module are constructed by using 3D PageFlip Professional 1.7.6 as the main software which looks very interesting because of its 3D feature and other advantages, so Sleek Physics help the students learn by using latest technology easyly in cheap and fun way. Ink is a liquid with a lot of pigment, it can be use for coloring a picture, text, or design. Dried leaves is a waste, until this time has not been fully utilized by the community, especially in Malang. Normally people just throw or burn dried leaves to minimalize it. Purpose of writing this paper is to exploit the potential of the dried leaves as raw material for making eco-Ink in Malang. Method used for writing this paper is literature study with secondary data using qualitative and quantitative analysis. Ink manufacture process are by burning dry leaves and then destroy the dried leaves have been burned up into powder, then mixed with chemicals, such as resin, distilled water, alcohol, and propylene glycol. Analysis showed that dry leaves waste has been burned still contain cellulose at 15-30%. From burning dried leaves, carbon obtained from cellulose leaves. Carbon is used as raw material for ink. Alcohol, resin, propylene glycol and distilled water are added into the Carbon. Proportions of each material are 30% of dried leaves, 30% alcohol, 30% distilled water, and 5% resin and 5% propylene glycol. Analysis showed that waste of dried leaves in the amount of 125 kg each day, in Malang. If we take 1 kg of this dried leaves, it can be produce 666,7 mL ink. This eco-ink have some primacy, like low cost for this eco-Ink and not damage environment when it recycled. This innovation increase economic value of dried leaves by utilize it for ink. And with this innovation we can save our environment. Asam sunti is typical of the people of Aceh seasoning obtained from the dried starfruit. Isolation of tannin in asam sunti done by maceration using acetone: water (6: 2) for 3 x 2 hours with the help of a shaker. Then do the fractionated by thin-layer chromatography method. Variations elven used Adala n- butanol : acetic acid, HCl, methanol: ethyl acetate. The results showed that the extract of "Asam Sunti" contains tannin.
