Are you living out God’s purpose for your life? God desires to bless and fill your life with abundant and eternal joy. “He creates each of us by Christ Jesus to join Him in the work He does, the good work He has gotten ready for us to do, work we had better be doing” (Eph. 2:10 The Message). Last week was an awesome testimony of God’s work through the lives of FBC. Many Sunday School classes joined together for a sack lunch after our Sunday morning service then went out and served others by doing Faith-in-Action projects. Projects varied from lawn work, prayer walking, assisting terminally ill patients, making fleece blankets, distributing water and clean up in a local park. Sunday afternoon we welcomed our community to join in our annual Trunk-or-Treat at the new church property. God blessed our evening with the community as over 50 families attended as guests. From touching our community with the love of Christ through Faith-in-Action to building intentional relationships through Trunk-or-Treat, God is using FBC to make a difference for Jesus Christ. The icing on the cake was the Secret Church simulcast that challenged participants to hear, apply, and share the Word of God. Through local missions, evangelistic outreach, and discipleship God is infusing new and exciting life to our church family. Let me encourage you to be involved, engaged, and committed to our Lord and our FBC family. Don’t you dare miss out on the joyous opportunity of living out God’s purpose for your life.
