The designs, which reflects the dreaming feelings of being in a

botanic garden, is created entirely by hand using charcoal and

water colours by designer Helene Blanche.

Inspired by a walk in the botanic garden in Copenhagen, the

designs are an interpretation of nature’s familiar silhouettes

painted by hand.

“I’m constantly experimenting with hand drawings. Working with

charcoal, ink and water colours when I make the first sketches

for a pattern, I believe it’s important with an open minded and

playful process, thus the finished design becomes dynamic and

unpolished. It’s not only revolving around beauty and perfection,

but it’s also about playing and experimenting”, Helene says.
