Tip #1:
List his fears, flaws, desires and strengths.
Tip #2:
Write out his worldview, beliefs, personal code, and assumptions.
Tip #3:
Ask yourself: How does he define himself?
Tip #4:
Look for what seem to be contradictions.
Tip #5:
Consider the plot: What sacrifices might have to be made?
Tip #6:
Comb through your notes if you haven’t already found it.
Repeat steps one through five if needed.{

Do the work. No amount of instructions will substitute.
