Boris Romanovsky Major: Finance
“I came to Fairfield University
as an undecided business major
but upon taking Finance 101, I
knew that this was the field for
me. Being a division 1 athlete,
the competitive world of finance
was the closest match that I could find to the competitive
nature of athletics and I quickly began searching for more
information outside of the classroom. I found the Fairfield
Investment Group, the student run investment portfolio
on campus and quickly rose through the ranks to become
CEO of the group. The faculty were able to guide me in the
right direction by recommending certain courses that were
tailored towards my dream of working on Wall Street.”
