Spring Break Camps Plan for Success

Its a new year and a great time for a fresh start. Goal setting is a fantasticexercise for setting your sights on making progress in any area of yourlife. In order for you to turn your goals into a reality, a bit of planning willgo a long way.

Write them down. It seems like an obvious choice yet how manygoals have you kept in your head and actually achieved? Make sure theyexcite you to your core and inspire you. Put them up where you will seethem every day. Dream big to play bigger in your life!

Are they S.M.A.R.T.? Specic, measurable, actionable, realistic andtime sensitive. This is a great acronym to measure your goal against and set

you up for success.Begin with the end in sight. Get laser focused and clear about who

you will be when you achieve your goal. What are you doing? What is hap-

pening around you? How will you know that you have achieved it? What

will you be thinking, seeing, hearing, feeling and even wearing? Spend timeevery day visualizing this scenario.

Take action! Once a goal has been written down you must commit totaking action within 24 hours of setting it. What one small thing can you doto start to put into motion the achievement of your goal?

Be an innovative solution nder. Come up with as many differentpossible strategies, paths and action steps to achieving your goal. By doingso you are creating choices and alternate solutions to help you side stepany roadblock or pitfall that comes along. More choices = freedom andexibility.

    Ordinary things consistently

    done everyday lead to

    extraordinary results.

    - Keith Cunningham
