Application development

Natalie Dyson_YCN brief

For the development I used the brand guidelines to specify the colour scheme and visual style. This was quite strict but I feel I have achieved something that is suitable for what the brand wanted as well as suit the target audiences needs. The overall visual has a technical look that appears futuristic which compliments the cars new forward thinking with technology.

Final application

Natalie Dyson_YCN brief

The final application will be made of a series of different sections that the user can easily navigate through to get a better understandng of the car and its technology along with how it can effect their lifestyle in a positive way. The app will be accesses through scanning the main promotional print poster as they both interact with one another working through the audiences intrigue. It is a simple to use app that can be quickly used when on the go and ‘check in’ features of smartphones allow the map to locate the nearest dealer with ease.

Poster development

Natalie Dyson_YCN brief

The poster visual style and colour scheme was determined by the brand guidelines and had to work with the app I have developed. The poster would be interactive and main use is to direct the audience to the app through the use of a QR code. Poster altered following feedback from the crit.

Final poster

Natalie Dyson_YCN brief

The poster is an interactive print piece that interacts with the audiences smartphone and is a bridge to the application where the main content is displayed. It is a highly visual piece that uses the audience intrigue of wanting to know about something new. The audience scans the QR code to reviel a moving visual of the car then onto the application download. This would be placed on ad shels in the city so that the audience could learn about the car on the go or whilst waiting without effecting their busy lifestyle.
