Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Kanpur, was started in 1974. Smt. Indira Gandhi, Prime Minister of India, had laid the foundation stone, while Dr.. Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed, President of India performed the inauguration. It is a leading school of northern India and has achieved excellent results in the board examinations. Responding to the increased demand from the students, the Society established Jaipuria Institute of Management at Vasundhara, Ghaziabad in 2001, Jaipuria Institute at Vasundhara Ghaziabad in 2004, and Jaipuria Institute of Management Studies in 2008.

Seth Anandram Jaipuria Trust and Seth Anandram Jaipuria Education Society run various reputed schools and colleges in the country. The opening ceremony of a degree college named Seth Anandram Jaipuria College was performed by Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru in 1945, who later became the Prime Minister of India. It is flourishing as a famous centre of excellence.

A former Professor of Indian Institute of Management Indore with more than twenty six years of academic experience in India and abroad,Dr. Rizvi has lectured at premier institutes around the world including IIMs, NITs, Harvard University, USA, Preston University, Sharjah, American University of Emirates, UAE, MARA University, Kuala Lumpur, BITS Pilani Dubai Campus, Sultan Qaboos University, Muscat, etc. An eminent author wth eleven books and over fifty articles, Dr. Rizvi is on the Editorial Boards of many scholarly journals including Profile: A Journal of Columbia University, Asian Case Research Journal, National University of Singapore, How: A Colombian Journal For English Teachers, Columbia, SEARCH Journal, Malaysia, Indore Management Journal, and IMT Case Journal, India.

A D.Sc. and Ph.D. from Harvard Business School, USA, with an MBA and M.S from Melbourne University, Australia, Dr. Prakash Mathure has more than thirty years of corporate and academic experience in USA, Australia, and India. A former Professor of Great Lakes Institute of Management Chennai, Dr. Mathura’s corporate experience includes various leadership positions in multinational companies in USA, Australia, and India. He was a visiting / adjunct faculty for a numbers of years in various Universities / Institutes in Australia, New Zealand, Europe (UK, Germany, Netherland, Denmark, Sweden and Iceland) and North America (Canada, USA) for various management courses in the areas of Finance, Marketing, Operations, Quantitative, Strategic and General Management. Dr. Mathure is a registered and practising Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, UK and few states in USA.

A Ph. D. in Management from Singhania University, and B. E. and M. E. in Electrical Engineering from IIT – Roorkee, Dr. V K Goyal has 34 years industry experience both in public sector as well as private sector in different departments such as R&D, PPC & Materials Management. He has over seven years academic experience in the field of Operations Management. Dr. Goyal was has deputed to George Kent, U. K. for Technology Absorption of new product range while he was in industry. He has presented many papers in India and abroad and several of his papers and case studies have been published in both international and national journals. His international presentations include POMS, Texas University, U.S.A. and Hamburg University, Germany.

Dr. Mukesh Chaturvedi has been a Professor of Marketing and Business Communication with IMT Ghaziabad, MDI Gurgaon, XLRI Jamshedpur and BITS Pilani. He has been the Acting Director & Dean (Academics) of IMT Ghaziabad; Director, Asia-Pacific Institute of Management, Delhi; and Founder Director of the Amity Centre for CRM, ABS Noida. He has also been a Visiting Faculty to Rouen Business School, France, IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Ranchi,and IIM Rohtak. Dr. Chaturvedi has an M.M.S. and a Ph.D. from BITS Pilani. He is also an alumnus of the prestigious International Visitor Program of USIA, Washington, D.C., USA. He has rendered training and consulting services to a large number of multi-national, private and public sector companies. Dr. Chaturvedi is the recipient of MDI’s most coveted Award for Excellence in Teaching for the year 2005.

What are Jaipuria Scholarships (JS)?

Jaipuria Scholarships assist financially disadvantaged but brilliant students with the costs associated with post-graduate management education.

Jaipuri Scholarships intend to make higher management education available to disadvantaged sections of Indian Society, and aim to maximize the participation in higher education of students from low socio-economic backgrounds and also target groups statistically misrepresented in higher education.

The total number of scholarships is 90 and worth above 2 crores.

These scholarships are funded by Seth Ananram Jaipuria Education Society.

Jaipuria Scholarships through Jaipuria Institute of Management Studies Indirapuram comprise:

• MR Jaipuria Merit Scholarships

MR Jaipuria Merit Scholarships (MRJMS)

20 PMRJ Scholarships of Rs 5,15,000.00 to each student (Full Fee Waiver) are funded by Seth Ananram Jaipuria Education Society. They are awarded to outstanding candidates whose profiles will help Jaipuria ,Indirapuram to promote value-based leadership and best business practice, particularly by ensuring diversity.

PMRJS aim to maximise the participation of girls, entrepreneurs, engineers, government officers and managers in public sector and students from marginalized sections of society. Without making any compromise with talent and commitment, PMRJS provides consideration to students experiencing a wide range of educational disadvantages including:

career responsibilities financial hardship refugee status (disrupted schooling) regional or remote disadvantage sole parent responsibilities. marginalized status in society

70 MR Jaipuria Merit Scholarships ranging from Rs 1,00,000.00 to Rs 3, 00,000.00 for brilliant students who are not able to pursue management education due to lack of financial support.

The objectives of the MRJMS are to facilitate choice in higher education and to increase higher education participation for students from poor sections of Indian society.

MRJMS aim to maximise the participation in higher education of students from low socio-economic backgrounds and also target groups statistically under-represented in higher education, particularly higher management education.

Commencing in July 2014, Jaipuria Indirapuram is offering year-round admissions for applicants. This means that you can apply for PGDM at Jaipuria Indirapuram from January each year until April. In a single application you can apply for more than one scholarship.

Padmabhushan MR Jaipuria Scholarships

Minimum Eligibility Criteria: 70 % Marks in all the examinations including Class Xth, Class XIIth, and Graduation

When you apply for PMR Jaipuria Scholarships through Jaipuria Indirapuram, you may nominate for other Jaipuria Scholarships. You’ll be considered for all available Jaipuria Scholarships for which you’re eligible.

Selection process

Jaipuria Indirapuram offers this to brilliant students through a competitive application process. The application gathers sufficient information from applicants to determine which applicants best meet the eligibility criteria. You can only receive a PMR Jaipuria Scholarships offer for doing PGDM from Jaipuria Institute of Management Studies Indirapuram to which you’ve received an offer of admission.

PMR Scholarships applications are assessed based on the information provided in the application and supporting documentation as well as on the Scholarship Points that a candidate gets as per the following Scholarship Points Distribution:

Maths/Quantitative Ability: Number system, geometry, algebra, trogonometry,probability, permutation combination, mensuration, time and work,averages,percentages, profit and loss, quadratic and linear equations, etc.

PMRJ Scholarship Test Syllabus

Scholarship Test comprises of general aptitude including Verbal Ability (English),Logical Resoning (LR) and Data Interpretation (DI), Quantitative Ability (Mathematics) skills.

Some of the topics included are:

Data Interpretation: Interpretation and analysis of data based on text, tables, graphs (line, area), charts (column, bar, pie), venn diagram, etc.

Logical Reasoning:Clocks, calendars, binary logic, seating arrangement, blood relations, logical sequence,premise, conclusion, linear and matrix arrangement, assumption, etc.

•Registrations open – Friday February 21, 2014•Registrations close – Monday 14 April, 2014•PMRJ Scholarship Tests – Several Round of PMRJ Tests will be

conducted throughout India during February-April, 2014.•PMRJ Scholarships Result for Scholarship offers– Friday 18 April, 2014.•Final Date for accepting PMRJ Scholarships and taking admission in PGDM 2014 – Friday 25,April 2014
