Sharjah has over 600 mosques. Al Noor mosque is the only one open to non-muslims through guided tours.
Al Noor Mosque means Mosque of Light, constructed by a model of a Turkish Mosque.
Al Majaz Mosque is located inside Majaz Park.
Al Huda mosque fits about 2,200 people. On Fridays that is not enough.
Corniche Creek Mosque, located near Radisson Blue Hotel, is the only golden domed mosque.
Another perspective. Sharjah is famous for Mosques and for being green.
The only Shia Mosque in the emirate.
ENTRANCE TO THE MOSQUE IS RESTRICTED TO MUSLIMS ONLY- says the note.
King Faisal Mosque is also the Sharjah Department of Islamic Affairs. The prayer halls can accommodate 17,000 people.
