Since incorpation of the Associatior.;.it has had but four presidents and tuo secretaries. The presidents were: Dancol1Joshua Jewett of Rorlley; General Edgar J. Jewett of Buffalo, Ne~ York; George A.Jevvett of Des r:lojnes, loua; and the present one, Theo S. Jewett, a la\1yer of La­conia, New Hmlpshire.

The two secretaries were: Deacon AJ.:10S Jewett of Rowley, and his son, EverettDouglas Jewett of IpsuLch Village.

\we regret. to announe the passing of Mrs. Evadne Jewett Chaney of Salem, MaBI.on November 25th after a long illness .• She waa born in Chelsea, Massachusetts.December 9th, 1867, a descendant of Joseph Jewett. Mrs. Chaney was on of theCharter Members of our Association. a member of many reunion commdttees t anddirector from 1930 to 1952 and one of those who ~ve unsparingly of her time tomake our family Organization a success. She is survived by her husband, a daughter,Mrs. Constance Chaney Healy and a grandson, Kenneth Moneil Healy.. The Associationhas suffered a great loss in her passing.
