One of the challenges in designing RSC was to create a door system which would provide ultimate security to home owners. as the garage door is an integrated part of their home, the main priority is to prevent intruders entering through the garage door. as an answer to that need, FlexiForce “system-integrated” burglar resistance into the RSC design. end users are not likely to save on security costs, so this is a great sales opportunity for you!

The four main burglar resistant aspects being: • locking up the top section with a new aluminium, closed top-curve. (1)• locking up the rollers in a new closed “C” vertical track. (2)• a new bracket for fixation of the vertical track to the floor. (3)• Integrated liftmaster evOlutION power operation with secure rolling code

transmitters. (4)• these features make it so much harder to break into a garage door, that RSC

today we are all responsible for finding sustainable solutions and applying those, even at sometimes higher costs. In RSC we approached this pragmatically with an obsessive search for material reduction, a choice for recyclable materials, increasing the energy efficiency of the door and looking sharply to the CO2-footprint of the supply chain process of our parts and systems.

Concretely, we reached remarkable results: • Improved thermal values by applying thermal break side-seals, double-flap

For single garage doors, up to 3.000x2.500mm we have created a set-up with torsion springs installed in front on the lintel, needed only 160mm build-in head room. the track system is identical as in the other systems, only the shaft system differs. Smaller wall consoles (563SCl/R), smaller spring break devices (656SCl/R, 656SCtl/R) and a smaller cable drum (FFNl10) “make” this system.

in rear 75/115mm

For all door sizes, up to 5.000x3.000mm where available head room is really limited, for example in renovation projects, we have designed RSC with the spring system mounted at the end of the horizontal tracks, in the rear. For manual operated doors, a head room of 75mm is feasible. For power operated doors, 115mm is needed. the newly developed track brackets 340S fit onto the horizontal tracks. they connect to 340Sl/R base brackets on which, with “new click”, the spring break devices are installed. Connection between the tracks is realized with a strong 50Su C-profile. easy and fast installation! again, the horizontal and vertical tracks are identical in all systems. a pulley for guiding the cable to the rear is added to the horizontal track.

Doors > 3.000mmFor doors wider than 3.000mm, the strength in the top panel comes from cutting out the pass door in the panel and reinforce the panel with a 80PS-.. reinforcement profile. this allows the application of SafeStep pass doors up to a door width of 5.000mm. the location of the pass door in the door is, within limits, free selectable.
