Layer Fabric face down, two pieces of HTC fleece, the last piece of fabric right side face up. Baste the layers together. 3. Using a disappearing ink pen, draw horizontal lines on the fabric every 1 1 / 2''. Draw vertical lines on the fabric every 1 1 / 2''. 4. Quilt on all the lines. 5. Cut down the quilted fabric to make a 9'' x 9'' square. 6. Stitch the binding around the outer edges of the potholder. 7. Cut a piece of the bias tape 7'' long. Stitch along both long sides to make the loop. 8. Turn the raw edges of the bias tape under and stitch to the potholder. Placemat Directions (for one):1. Cut one piece of green fabric, one piece of bur-gundy fabric and one piece of fleece 13'' x 18''.2. Baste the fleece to the wrong side of the burgundy fabric.3. With right sides together stitch the burgundyand green fabric together leaving a 4’’ opening onone side for turning.4. Turn and press. Hand stitch the opening closed.5. Using an invisible marking pen draw a line 3⁄4''in on all four sides of the placemat.6. Using a large zigzag stitch, stitch along thelines with gold metallic thread.7. From the Bows & Ornaments fabric choose theflowers and leaves you want for the placemat.8. Cut out around the flowers and leaves at least2'' larger than the motif.9. Iron the HeatnBond® to the wrong side of thefabric.10. Peel the paper backing off and iron to a pieceof Peltex.11. Cut the motif out.12. Using a small zigzag stitch and the metallicthread stitch around the flowers and leaves on alledges.13. Hand stitch the motifs to the corner of theplacemat

Towel Directions:1. For the ruffle cut a 6'' strip by the width of thefabric.2. Fold in half lengthwise with right sides togetherand stitch on each short side.3. Turn and press. Baste the raw edges together.4. Gather up long side on the raw edge to fit thewidth of the towel. 5. Stitch the ruffle to the bottom of the towel hav-ing pressed edge even with lower edge of towel.6. Stitch the ribbon over the raw edge of the ruf-fle. Stitch on both long edges of the ruffle turningthe ends of the ribbon to the back of the towel.7. Make a bow with the remaining ribbon and handstitch to the center of the towel over the ribbon.

Wine BagMaterials:• 1⁄2 Yd V.I.P Bows & Ornaments Packed All Over • 1⁄2 Yd Gold Lame• 1⁄2 Yd 1⁄4 '' Gold Twisted Cord• 1⁄2 '' Seam allowance included in all measure-ments.

Wine Bag Instructions:1. Cut one piece of Bows & Ornaments fabric andone piece of Gold Lame 18''(w) x 16''.2. Fold the fabric in half with right sides togetheralong the 16'' side. Stitch along this edge.3. Center the seam in the back and stitch acrossthe bottom together. Turn right side out.4. Repeat with the gold lame, leaving a 3'' open-ing in the bottom for turning. Do not turn at thistime.5. Slip the lining over the bag having right sidestogether. Line up the top raw edges and stitcharound the top edge to attach the bag to the lining.6. Turn right side out through the whole in the lining.7. Hand stitch the opening closed.8. Push the lining into the bag and press.9. Hand stitch the cording to the back seam of thebag about 4'' from the top.

Fabric BowlSupplies:• 1⁄2 yd V.I.P Bows & Ornaments Packed All Over • 1⁄2 yd V.I.P Bows & Ornaments Tossed All Over • 1⁄4 yd solid burgundy fabric• 11⁄2 yds 2'' beaded trim• 1⁄2 yd Peltex Interfacing• 1 yd HeatnBond® iron-on adhesive• Disappearing ink marker• Basic sewing supplies

Directions:1. Cut two pieces of fabric, one piece of Peltexand two pieces of HeatnBond 15'' x 15'' each.2. Following the manufacturer's directions, ironone piece of HeatnBond to the wrong side of eachpiece of fabric.3. After peeling the paper backing off, iron thewrong side of the fabric to each side of the Peltex.4. Using a ruler draw a 14'' x 14'' square on thefabric covered Peltex.5. Using the disappearing ink pen draw lines 41⁄2''in on all four sides. This will make a 5'' square inthe center of the box.6. Draw a line from one point of the 5'' square tothe outer point of the 14'' square. On either sideof this line measure over 1'' at the top edge anddraw a line from that point to the point of the 5''square. Cut out this dart. Repeat this step at thethree other corners. (Illus. 1)7. Cut a 6'' square of HeatnBond® and burgundyfabric.8. Following the manufacturer's directions iron theHeatnBond® to one side of the fabric. Cut this intoa 5'' square.9. Iron this square to the 5'' square in the center ofthe bowl.

10. Using a 41⁄2 - 5 mm width satin stitch, stitcharound the four sides of the 5'' square to make thebase of the bowl.11. Starting at the base of the bowl and butting thedart edges together, satin stitch the edges of thedart together to the outer bowl. Repeat with all thedarts. (It may be necessary to restitch the darts tocover the raw edges completely.) 12. Using a satin stitch, stitch around the top edgeof the bowl over the raw edges of the bowl.13. Stitch the beaded trim to the inside of the bowlhaving the tape of the beads on the inside and the

beads just falling over the top to the outside.Stitch on the edge of the tape being careful not tocatch the beads while sewing.14. Cut a strip of the solid burgundy fabric 1'' bythe width of the fabric.15. With wrong sides together press the strip inhalf lengthwise.16. Line the pressed edges of the strip with theraw edges of the top of the bowl and stitch inplace with a 1⁄8'' seam.17. Using a 21⁄2'' satin stitch, stitch around the rawedge of the strip around the inside of the bowl.
