The toumament has consistently drawn partiCipation from different secondary schoolb all over the region. assuring high quaLity adjudication and accountabilit; .

This tournament will be in Asian ParlianJclllaty rormat which comprises rwo (2) teams debating in a round . Each team ts composed of three (3) debaters who will have to deliver seven-minute speeches. There will be five (5) preliminary rounds to dctcm1inc the lOp eight (8) or sixteen (I 6) teams - depending on the number of participating teams - which will be pan of the final series. Top ten (I 0) ind1vidual debaters will also be recognized aLthc end of the tournament.

A registration fcc of Php 750 per team (250 rcr head) will be ~olkct~d to cover the debate kits inclusive ofTD.s. tokens, and certificates.

Eligibility to .Join: Debate Team Rule - 3 enrolled studcms from the same high school (including

senior high school) can compete af' a t~am. Debate Format: siall Parliamentary

Number of Preliminary Rounds: Fi\•c (5) Breaking: Break to Quarter-finals/ Octo-finals; top eight (8) or sixteen ( 16) teams. respectively, will advance to the final series. Tournament Cap: 46 teams, lirst-come-first-'icn•cd basis

Institution Cap: A school can send a maximum of three (3) teams
