Our parish goal is $67, 516. The money we raise in the coming

behalf of the Bishop and the thousands of people that will directly benefit

    from your generosity.

I am so thankful for the overwhelming support that you give me and our

parish for caring for those we serve with love and compassion. We do this

because we are a family. I ask each of you to pass on that family support

to the family of our Diocese. We are each called to serve and sustain one

another. Thank you, once again, for serving Gods people here and in the

    Through the Sacraments of Initiation

Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharistwebecome part of the Church, the Body of

Christ. As such, we are called to holiness

to live as disciples of Christ. As Stewards of

Gods creation, we celebrate His Presence in

the Eucharist offered in reparation for the sins

of the living and the dead (CCC1414) and look

with hope to Christ'spledge of glory with him

    (1419).

Holy Communion separates us from sin.

The body of Christ we receive in Holy

Communion is given up for us, and theblood we drink shed for the many for theforgiveness of sins. For this reason theEucharist cannot unite us to Christ with-

out at the same time cleansing us from

past sins and preserving us from future

    sins. (CCC, n. 1393)

    Walking With Faith Cross

For we walk by faith, not by sight

    2 Corinthians 5:7

We would like to introduce the Walking With Faith Cross. It has

the same concept as the Giving Tree at Christmas, but only shoes are

purchased for those in need and they do not need to be wrapped.

Please attach the tag that you take from the cross to the shoes you

purchase and place them under the cross. The shoes will benefit

those at the Daybreak Shelter, Lambs Fold, Vilaseca Day Care

Center and the Guardian Angel Home. All shoes must be placed

under the Walking With Faith Cross by Sunday, March 24th.

As always, thank you for your generosity and support

to those in need this Lenten season.
