these two sizes you can treat the wrist, elbow, knee, ankle and hip. When applied to the wrist, the selection criteria is: small

anatomical body joint = small joint system. When applied to the elbow - knee or ankle joint, body weight is decisive. For the

treatment of the pediatric hip joint the body height is decisive.

MultiMotion Dynamic Corrective System Joint.

The Dynamic Corrective System Joint enables fast, efficient and adequate treatment of contractures resulting from

neurological and orthopedic conditions. The system joint is deployed in orthoses – for both children and adults.

Functionality of the MultiMotion correction joint is based on the LLPS principles (Low Load Prolonged Stretch). This process

of gradual, precise and evenly applied tension, stimulates the growth of the shortened tissue and increases joint mobility.

The use of a low, ongoing correction force extends altered tissue, thereby increasing the functionality of the joint.

Treatment of the contracture can both be done in flexion or in

extension. The selection is easy to set up by reversing the spring

from the yellow (Fig. 1) to the red side (Fig. 2) side - or vice versa.

The correct setting is depends on the respective side of the body

and contracture type.

MultiMotion Dynamic corrective system joint

Components The MultiMotion dynamic corrective system is a combination of two components – the corrective joint and the free motion

or R.O.M. joint. All components are available in Small and Regular sizes but may also be ordered separately. Joints are also

available as an modular system or with integrated Bars / T-bar.

Available accessories are an alignment tool and different Bar models.

Contra indication

Ankylosis (ICD10: M24.69)

Deformation of muscles and bones

Fibrosis (ICD10: M35)

Ossification (ICD10: M61.9)

Product function

Continuously adjustable dynamic extension

or flexion of the joint

Application

This dynamic corrective system joint enables an efficient and

effective treatment for dynamic correctable contractures.

Contractures presented with a neurological cause are treat-

ed according to the LLPS principle. Contractures caused due

to trauma or post surgery may and can also be treated stati-

cally during the rehabilitation phase.

Safe and step-wise joint mobilization

Extension/mobilization of spastic musculature

Strengthening of musculature

Improvement of the resting posture

Prevention of cartilage damage and ulcers

Dynamic Hip Abduction System for pediatrics

MultiMotion Dynamic Hip Abduction System for pediatrics

MultiMotion Dynamic Hip Abduction SystemTreatment recommendation

Joint: hip (pediatrics)

This system is assembled on a custom made long leg orthosis and provides for a dynamic

stretch in the coronal plane (the adductors), while statically allowing the practitioner to set the rotation angle

of the hip. This allows for the leg to be positioned in a physiologically correct way and to stabilize the hip joint.

The adductors are successively, precise and evenly stretched.

Ordering Information

The MultiMotion Dynamic Hip Abduction system for children consists of two components, the Corrective Joint and

the Abduction Bars. Both components are available in size Small and Regular and can also be ordered separately from

each other.
