Whether Nancy is runningblood pressure clinics in thecommunity for our SeniorOptions for Independence(SOFI) program, putting hermaster gardener skills to useat Fairport Apartments, orhelping in her role as VicePresident of the Women'sService Board, she touchesalmost every program thatFBH offers. You can also find Nancy volunteering at Crafts Bitsand Pieces in Fairport every Thursday and she is currently helpingto plan a Spring Tea fundraiser for the Women's Service Board(see event info on left). "Nancy responds to the needs of otherswith unconditional positive regard. She is a caring individual whoexudes energy and passion. A most valuable asset to our SOFIprogram, Nancy is an ambassador in the community committedto improving the quality of life for our elders," says Jeanne Readwith SOFI. Nancy is also active with the Senior Living Council and was on theSteering Committee for the Perinton Community Gardens. Sheenjoys her work with the Women's Service board because theyare a hands-on group committed to directly helping and improvingthe lives of FBH residents. She is proud of the history of FBH andsays "Women really started things at FBH more than 100 yearsago and this continues with the work of the Women's ServiceBoard."
