The cup of coffee given to me from the guides hand down on the riverbank, was all I needed to send me to perfection on this outstanding fishing day.

The steep mountain walls made a fine scenario as the sun set in the slow current of the river Namsen. If I could stop time now was the moment to do it.

Fishing-:-

The Danica imitation made a few ballet like twirls on the surface. then it joined it´s originals down stream to the outer rims of the pool.

The water emerged around the fly and suddenly it was gone from the surface. The strike was a tidy bit late but there it was.

The Camp-:-

He was sitting In the fading light from the setting sun. i did not have the heart to bother the contemplating fisherman on the outskirts of our campsite.

You could see that he was just being one with the surrounding nature. His face had a glow of well being to it and without saying a word i went back to the others around the

campfire.He had found peace.

He had found the Fat Trout spirit.

The crystallised salt flakes together with the sugarburned almonds on top of the pannacotta put a wrinkle on everybodys nose.

But when the flavours of the Fat Trout whiskey and the deep dark choclate presented itself in their mouths they all made sounds of appreciation.

Yet A bold move from the Chef had opened another door to the culinary journey of their stay.A taste of the Fat Trout Explorer Kitchen.
