Q: Can I use ESP Web on my Internet ready cell phone?

A: Yes, you can search for products and suppliers on any device that has a browser. Other functions such as presentations and ordering will be available in future releases.

Q: Will there be an IPhone App?

A: We are planning on having an IPhone App for a future version. See above for how it will work on your iPhone today.

Q: Can I use ESP Online and ESP Web at the same time?

A: Yes. You can run one instance of each program at the same time.

Q: What happens if I am on ESP Web and my colleague logs in on my license at the same time?

A: They will get an alert that the license is already in use. The new user will have the option of “bumping out” the other session allowing them to log in.

Q: What happens if I am logged in to ESP Web, but I don’t use it for an hour? Will my information be automatically saved? Will it log me out automatically?

A: If there is no activity on your session for more than 30 minutes, you will automatically be logged out. Your clipboard and presentations will be automatically backed up every 10 minutes.

Q: Are product results limited to 10,000?

A: No, with ESP Web’s intelligent search you will see exactly how many products have the attributes you want and you can view as many as you see fit.

Q: How does the ESP Clipboard work?

A: The clipboard in ESP Web holds products that you want to examine in more detail, add to project folders or include in your ESP Presentations. It is similar to “Marked” products in ESP Online.

Q: How many products can be placed on the clipboard and how long are they available? Do products stay on the clipboard until you take them off?

A: You can place 250 products on the clipboard where they will stay for 90 days.

Q: If you want to view similar products, are they only from that specific Supplier?

A: Yes.

Q: If you don’t have ESP Orders, will you have a shopping cart?

A: No, but for less than $1 a day you can add ESP Orders.

Q: Are there margins in presentations?

A: Yes, there will be margins around the data and body of the presentation.

Q: Can default preferences be set up in presentations? How many?

A: This feature will be available in an upcoming release.

Q: Are templates still available in presentations?

A: Yes. In the initial release, we will have three templates available – one product per page, two products per page and three products per page. Future releases will allow companies to create their own.

Q: Can I transfer my old ESP Online presentations to ESP Web?

A: No, the new ESP Presentation tool is such an upgrade that the two technologies could not work together. However, you can continue to access your old presentations on ESP Online and we estimate that it will only take a minute or two to re-create them on ESP Web.

Q: Is sorting by new products available now?

A: Yes.

Q: Will ESP Web have Preferred Vendor capability?

A: Preferred vendors will be available in an upcoming release.

Q: How much are additional licenses? (Web)

A: Additional licenses are $57.83 per month.
