Fantasy iTeam Product Guide “The basic idea behind the Fantasy iTeam iPhone application, or FiT, is to be the first people to offer the fantasy football experience built around the iPhone. Since the inception of the idea there has been a number of people releasing applications which offer the game on their iPhone, but all are linked to a website, and none of them offer an experience which we intend to provide” Adam Patton, Fantasy iTeam Season 2010 - 2011

Picking your team Starting budget of £75m

Pick 11 players

Formation of either 4-4-2, 4-3-3, 4-5-1,

5-4-1, 5-3-2, 3-5-2, 3-4-3

Only 4 players from a single club

All the players are listed here and you can sort them in 4 different

ways to make it easier to find the players you are looking for. Look

up player form from last season and make sure that you don’t invest

in injury prone players

It’s a good idea to add potential players that you want for the season

to your shortlist (press star button in right hand corner) before

buying them to make sure that you spread your budget out in the

best way possible.

Scoring points

• You get the most points for defenders that keep a clean sheet and mids/forwards that score goals so this is where you want to concentrate your efforts into finding key players.

The points awarded to your players will automatically feed into your overall points score. You want to look out for defenders who are given a lot of game time rather than the most expensive necessarily.

Mini League; This is created by you as a FiT Manager to play against friends (or foes) and you are only allowed to play in one Mini League competition at a time.

Rich ListThe winner of this competition will be the iTeam with the most value. This is calculated by adding together each player’s value and the remaining funds in each iTeam’s bank

Player DAQThe Player DAQ index allows for considered choices to be made when transferring playersThe value of each and every player is

calculated by the PlayerDAQ index and its daily changes due to player popularity. Popularity is determined by demand; if a large number of FiT Managers buy a certain player, that player’s popularity will increase greatly, thus increasing his Player DAQ value on the index

Each player’s PlayerDAQ value can be viewed in detail on his player page. Rotating your iPhone anti-clockwise while viewing this page will display a graph outlining the player’s changes in value over time.

Transfers and Shortlisting

You can shortlist players that you may want to transfer into your team by pressing the star button within the player profile

You are allowed to make 1 transfer each week of players to and from your iTeam

Transfers are strategically one of the most important parts of the game to try and get right. It’s important to check if there are any reasons that your players performance could be affected that week. Plus remember the more Managers that want that player – the higher the price you’ll have to pay
