Learners• I am teaching 9th grade students in Wayne County West Virginia.

•Hands on learners.
Objective My ninth grade students will learn mathematical concepts, such as substitution, order of operations, and solving equations, through the use of Fantasy Football and technology by the end of the week with 100% accuracy. The students will use online sources to gather statistical data then consult with their group for the actual math part of the assignment.
Breaking it down Monday: Review rules and concepts of Fantasy Football and make 4 class “teams”.
Tuesday: Have each team come up with 14 NFL players based on a 42 million dollar budget.
Wednesday: Begin gathering statistical data on players (“Stats & More”).
Thursday: Introduce the equation: 6 (T) + 2 (V) + 3 (P+R+ C) - 1(I) - 1(F) = WFG = 3 PAT =1 Safety = 2 along with variable meanings. (“Dawn Olson”).
Friday: Compare teams and declare a winner.
