St. Charles’ Devotion to the Passion of Jesus and the Holy Eucharist

S.C.B. C. 38…The Holy Eucharist celebrated daily during which we receive the Body of Christ is the perfect community prayer.

If circumstances do not allow its daily celebration, we must be eager to meet regularly for a community celebration with the reception of Holy Communion wherever it is allowed.

The Eucharist is the sign and instrument par excellence

At the heart of the mystery of the Church is the bond of

communion uniting God with humanity and humans with one another. Of which the Eucharist is the sign and instrument par excellence. The communion is

rooted at its deepest level in the life of the Trinity in whom there

is a perfect communion of equals.

Mary is the Child of the Father, she is the Mother of the Son, and the Bride of the Holy Spirit

…The Virgin Mary received a unique grace of intimate union with God is the model for our prayer life. Since silence dwelt in the depth of her soul and created in her a listening attitude, she surrendered herself to the transforming presence of her Son. Like Mary we surrender ourselves to the divine action, so that Christ, whom we wish to give to the world, will shine forth more and more through us.
