Bad Choices
When have you made a bad decision and then
realized you would have to live with the consequences
of that decision?
There are many people who have made ungodly decisionsin their lives. Because of their choices, their entire lives
have been changed. Sometimes the choices we make and
what God has planned for our lives are different.
Read 2 Samuel 12:13-15. Do you think David knew he had
been disobedient to God? Why?
Every decision that is made in a family affects the entire
family. It doesn’t matter if it is made by an adult or a child.
It is important for you to make wise choices in your life. Ifyou don’t, your family could suffer the consequences.
When was the last time you asked God for wisdom
before making a decision?
Do you understand that God has a perfect plan for
your life?
If you will trust God with your life and your decisions, He
will bless you in a powerful way. God knows what is best
for you and He is waiting for you to ask Him for guidance
and direction.
Don’t wait, Trust Him today.
My PrayerDear Lord, help me to make decisions that will bring honor and glory to You and my family.

GodlyGood GenesBilly Graham is one of the best known evangelists in the world.
He has been preaching the gospel for almost 70 years and has
helped lead thousands of people to a saving knowledge of Jesus
Christ. After becoming very ill, Billy Graham passed the reigns
of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association to his son, Franklin
Graham. Because of the Christian model he saw in his father,
Franklin has been able to accept and continue this
great ministry.
Have you ever had anyone help you grow spiritually? Who?
Read 2 Timothy 1:5. Who were Timothy’s
spiritual leaders?
How did their Christian example help shape
Timothy’s life?
Everyone has someone to whom they lookup and want to be like. There is at least one
person in your life whom has been a role
model for you.
Who is that person (or persons) in your life?
Does that person know how much you
appreciate him or her? Have you ever told that
person how important he or she is in your life?
The choices your spiritual models
made could be the reason for your
success. Take some time to write a
letter or e-mail to that person and express
how their inuence has changed your life.
Take some time to thank God for the spiritual leaders He
has put in your life.
My PrayerLord, thank You for
godly parents, friends,
and examples.

Deadly Decisions
We all know people who appear to be one way but are
really living another type of life. These are the people
who will laugh with you and then laugh at you. They
can’t be trusted because they have hurt you in
the past. Somewhere along the way, they made a
conscience decision to treat everyone badly.
Have you been hurt by a friend or another person
who has made some bad decisions?
How did that affect your friendship?
Read Acts 5:1-10. How would you describe these
two people?
Bad decisions can be deadly. Sometimes, people
try so hard to be something they aren’t. You may
have people in your family or in your church who
act this way.
God does not want you to pretend to love Him. He wantsyou to love Him with all of your heart, mind, soul, and
strength. It should be who you are—not an act. You will
never fool God into thinking you are something you
are not.
Maybe you are guilty of pretending to love God and your
friends. Have you evaluated how you treat others and
how you worship God? What do you recognize?
Commit today to becoming a genuine worshipper of God.Commit to loving people unconditionally and without any
hidden agendas.
Seek Wisdom
My PrayerDear Jesus, help me to
make wise decisionsconcerning my friends
and family.
