Facebook Business Manager Tutorial

Business Manager lets you manage your ad accounts, fan pages, audiences, pixels, product

catalogs, and other assets you have on Facebook. You can work on all your assets in one place.

You are able to share access with partners, agencies, coworkers, virtual assistants, and more

without sharing your login details.

If you are advertising on Facebook or plan to advertise on Facebook, you must have Business

Manager. The Business Manager is free, easy to set up, and empowers you as an advertiser.

Why Business Manager

– Advertise your business on Facebook

– Need more than one ad account

– Need to manage multiple payment methods in the same place

– Want to request access to Pages or ad accounts

– Need to assign permissions to people you work with

– Work with a partner or agency

Here’s what you'll need before you start

– A personal Facebook account to confirm your identity

– A business Fan Page. If you don't have one, you'll be able to create a page during setup

– The names and work email addresses of the people you'd like to add to your business

(optional)

– Business name

Next, sign up for Business Manager

– Go to business.facebook.com

– Click Create Account

– Enter a name for your business, select the primary page, and enter your name and work

email address.

– Move through the rest of the onboarding flow by entering the required fields

Next, claim assets:

Click on Claim Assets in left navigation > Pages. In the search box, enter the Facebook page you

want included and click Claim Page.

Add page

There are three ways to add a page to your Business Manager. Only business admins can add

pages to Business Manager. To get started:

– Under the People and Assets tab, click Pages

– On the right side of the page, click Add New Page

– You'll be presented with three options: Claim a Page, Request Access to a Page, or Create

a New Page

– If you choose to Request Access or Claim a Page, enter the Facebook page name or URL

Add ad account

– Under the People and Assets tab, click Ad Accounts

– On the right side of the page, click Add New Ad Accounts

– Choose one of the three options: Claim Ad Account, Request Access to an Ad Account, or

Create a New Ad Account. See below for additional information

Add people

– Add yourself to the ad account

– You can also add other people later

Congratulations! You have now set up Facebook Business Manager for your business page and

are on your way to being a Facebook advertising ninja.
