One gallon and larger are bulked into drums and shipped to Perma-Fix for fuel blending, quarts and less are loose packed and shipped to EQ for fuel blending, cans in good condition with labels are distributed through Reuse Area at HHW Center.

All paint from 5 satellite facilities are transported to HHW Center for processing. One gallon and larger are evaluated for recycling. Cans that appear to be in good condition with labels and at least half full are placed in Recycle Area at HHW Center for reuse by customers. Paint in unlabeled cans, rusty or in poor condition are placed into cubic yard bins provided by contractor and shipped to Scott Paint for recycling. All other latex, minimum quantity in cans or unfit for recycling are bulked into drums and shipped to EQ for solidification and landfilled.
