PORTRAIT OF A SUN COLLECTOR

As he watched the world go by from the spotless terraces of St-Tropez in the summer of 1971, Vilebrequin founder Fred Prysquel began to frame a story

from behind his tinted lenses. The colorful, carefree world of his revolutionary swim short sketches has remained the essence of the Vilebrequin spirit ever since.

Season after season, Vilebrequin continues to build a lifestlyle vision inspired by the art of living in summer. Today, we proudly introduce eyewear to our design know-how, adding a new layer to our portrait of a sun collector.

With two seasonal releases per year, the Vilebrequin Suns collection brings a greater range

mix with each rotation around the sun. A highly crafted range of best-selling retained

styles accompany new season highlights, in celebration of classic and timeless style.

Vilebrequin Suns delivers core and key pieces with crafted appeal, to slot elegantly into

every sun-soaked day.

ATTAINABLE LUXURY

Continuing our tiered structure by lens feature, updated price points have been introduced

to the collection. New options san branding hallmarks offer a greater selection whilst

delivering the same high performance optical quality. Mirror and Mono lenses remain with

the manufacturer Zeiss and forgo the marking, with the premium polarised options retaining

the brand marked Zeiss feature lens.

With the universal fit and appeal of the metal aviator style, Vilebrequin makes a spacious and sun-filled position for an array of this classic.

ZEISS LENSES

Partnering with the world’s leading lens manufacturer, Carl Zeiss, to achieve precision

optical performance. Vilebrequin mono and mirror lenses use non-branded Zeiss

made lenses to achieve faultless clarity and protection. Vilebrequin polarised options

feature branded Zeiss lenses, marked with the signature lens etch, for high definition

vision tailored to life by the water.

The finest French-made spring hinges crafted by Comotec, have been adorned with the

iconic turtle and 1971 references. The customised Octopus(TM) hinges blend the markings

of the Vilebrequin brand with premium stability and long lasting quality.

Inspired by the features of the iconic boardshorts, the temple tip signature eyelet is a

synonymous feature of the brand. Subtle ‘V’ pin rivets, and engraved metal temples with

the message

Selected titanium nose pads bear the Vilebrequin hallmark, having been shaped for comfort

these hypo-allergenic nose pads can also be adjusted for a universal fit. All Vilebrequin

handcrafted acetate and monel metal frames pass through the hands of over 200 artisans

before finding their place in the sun.

adjusting the fit guide to tailoring

ADJUSTING THE FIT HOW TO ADJUST

All Vilebrequin Suns frames can be adjusted for fit. Metal nose pads can be gently

repositioned by hand to allow the frames to sit higher or lower on the face and spring hinges

are designed to fit a variety of head-sizes. If unsure, please consult your local optician.

With mild heating of the malleable acetate temple tip, the inward and vertical curves can

be manipulated by hand for optimal comfort. Gently bend the curve of the temple end to

sit closer or further away from the head.
