Carmen Romano, Marco Thiel, and JurgenKurths; in Physics Reports 438 (2007), pages 237-329. This block implements equation(50) pag. 265 or equivalently (111) pag. 289. The value of epsilon is user-specified, N isthe buffer-size of the input time-series. The user can specify both a specific value for tauor a range. In the first case the output is a scalar number which gives the value of theauto-correlation for the given tau and epsilon; in the second case the output is the functionRR(tau).
