The Marine and Civil Infrastructure Division includes a hydraulic sector. Geomatics

The Marine and Civil Infrastructure Division include a Geomatics Unit as the St. Lawrence River poses special challenges in the area of navigation. The Quebec Region maintains a special unit dedicated to the collecting and collating of geographic data and its transformation into precise positional information of assets and their supporting infrastructure.

Remaining work -- Integrated Technical Services: The remaining work includes:

1. Reviewing and establishing long-term business cases for the Regional functional variations that exist; 2. Updating the regional organization as a result of the Vessel Maintenance Management Report recommendations and associated

actions; 3. Updating the regional organization following work that is being conducted to look at the long term requirements for all

Waterways Established as a Centre of Expertise to deal with the management of dredging in the St. Lawrence on a cost recovery basis.

Remaining work – Maritime Services: The remaining work includes:

1. Icebreaking Superintendent: As part of the Strategic Program Framework development for the program, the program mandate, expectations for the Icebreaking Program will be reviewed and from there Key Activities and work descriptions will be developed.

2. Waterways Superintendent: Similar to Icebreaking further clarification will come as MS works through the Strategic Program

Framework and Key activities for the Superintendents. ********************************************************************************************************** Remaining work – Fleet: The remaining work includes:

1. Updating the regional organization as a result of the Vessel Maintenance Management Report recommendations and associated actions.
