Achievements in 2009-2010• Total five sections in Lab Pre-Primary School were started for

the benefit of normal and developmentally challenged children. The total number of beneficiaries was 115 students and their families.

• Total 42 credits practical of UG and 3 credits practical of PG courses were successfully completed by providing quality and adequate hands on training to both UG and PG students for upgrading their knowledge and skills to have for professionalism.

• In addition to it, 2421 clients availed the facility of modernised and well equipped Child / Family Guidance and Counselling clinics.

• 12 sets of electronic teaching aids and innovative toys for preschools are developed by UG specialization students.

• The Lab pre-primary school has made a dent on providing stress free quality pre-school education in Parbhani Dt of Marathwada region.

Achievements made in 2010-2011 • Total 7 sections in Lab Pre-Primary School were started for the benefit of normal and developmentally delayed children in 2010-11. The total

number of beneficiaries was 180 students and their families.• Total 45 credits practical of UG and 3 credits practical of PG courses were

successfully completed by providing quality and adequate hands on training to both UG and PG students for upgrading their knowledge and skills to develop professionalism in them.

• In addition to it, 1444 clients availed the professional services of modernised and well equipped Child / Family Guidance and Counselling Clinics.

• Implant training was given to UAS Dharwad IV B. Sc-CD students 9 sets of electronic teaching aids and many innovative toys for preschoolers are developed by UG specialization students and staff.

• Organized 12 Child Development Assessment Camps in collaboration with Dept. of Education, Pbn and different private schools

Achievements made in 2010-2011 Contributed in 7 national workshops and conferences. Provided employment to 7 pre-school Teachers and 5 Helpers on

contractual services and their payment is done from LPPS receipt. The Lab pre-primary school has made a dent on providing stress

free & quality pre-school education in Parbhani Dt of Marathwada region.

Successfully conducted 40 workshops for parents and youth. Celebrated 7 special days related to children, women and

families. Conducted 3 months duration certificate course on Management

of Child Care and Education Centres. Published 8 research articles, extension education articles -9

booklets 5, folders -2 Procured child friendly furniture, LPP school compound railing

and contingency items for LPP School from its receipt.

1 On 8-3-2010 Prof. Visala Patnam was felicitated with Priyadarshini award for contribution in Education & Community Development on the Eve of Women’s Day by Zilla Congress Party, Parbhani.

2 Prof.Vishala Patnam felicitated with Krantijyoti Savitribai Phule Adarsha Nari award by Akhil Bharatiya Mahatma Phule Samatha Parishad, Patri (Taluka), Parbhani (Dist.) on 15-8- 2010 for her exceptional contribution in the field of education and community development. 3 Prof.Vishala Patnam received Best Teacher Excellence Award from Associate Dean & Principal of Home Science MAU Parbhani on the Eve of teachers Day on 5-9-2010 4 Prof.Vishala Patnam was felicitated by Hon. Ajit Pawar Maharastra State Minister of &ElectricityMumbai for her valuable contribution in Women & Child Welfare component of Parbhani vision 2020 in Collector office on 15-10-2010 Parbhani.

5 Kranthi Jyothi Savitribai Puraskar was received by Prof.Vishala Patnam Head (HD&FS) on 2-1-2011 for her commendable contribution in education, research and extension from Kranti Jyothi. S Phule & Akhil Bhartiya Mahatma Phule Parishad Parbhani.
