The experts of UKRTRANSGAZ are the members of

the following TCs:

- TC133 «Natural gas»

- ТC 146 «Materials, equipment, technologies and

facilities for the oil and gas industry»

- ТC 19 «Research and development terminology»

UKRTRANGAZ Standardisation System provides:

– effective operation of the UKRTRANSGAZ integrated management system

– update and improve the regulatory framework of UKRTRANSGAZ in all fields of its activity;

– Participation of experts in standardisation activity, including developing of regulatory documents

The system facilitates the realization of required quality of services provided by UKRTRANSGAZ

1. 1. From 12 standards adopted during the INOGATE program «Harmonization

of standards and practices in the oil and gas sector in Eastern Europe and the

Caucasus" realization, the first 10 fall within the competence of PJSC

UKRTRANSGAZ

The first from the mentioned standards was adopted in Ukraine as ДСТУ ГОСТ

CEN/TS 15173:2013.

2. By the standards outlined in the positions 2 - 6 and 12 the technical committees

TC 133 and TC 146 are working with the Ministry of Economic Development and

Trade of Ukraine on the importance of taking over these intergovernmental

standards as harmonized identical to national standards of Ukraine (ДСТУ ГОСТ

EN …)

1. In 2014 Technical Committees on Standardization TC 133 and TC 146 planned to

take measures on the adoption of 14 translated standards as identical to

national standards by reprint with referential Russian translation obtained within

the framework of INOGATE programme (ДСТУ EN …)

2. Standardization Technical Committees TC 133 and TC 146 got

the translations from the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade

of Ukraine, which were received from the Interstate Council for Standardization,

Metrology and Certification as well as the English-language edition of the

standards in order to determine the specific actions for each of the standards

Issues for the future in terms of the harmonisation of the

regulatory framework for the functioning of the GTS

1. Possibility of PJSC UKRTRANSGAZ to become an associate member of the

German (DVGW) and Austria (OEVGW) gas associations and receive information

according to the new standards and best practices for gas transmission field.

2. The list of standards DVGW (table below), the PJSC UKRTRANSGAZ is

interested in, is determined. In turn, our organization can provide information on

the internal standards of PJSC UKRTRANSGAZ that operate in the field of gas

transmission of Ukraine.

3. Discussion of the principles of implementation and use of DVGW standards,

voluntary and mandatory of their requirements, conditions of DVGW standards

use by German and foreign companies as those that are DVGW members and

those that are not.

4. Using of normative references to international (ISO, IEC) and European

Standards (EN), as well as the German national standards (DIN) during the

development of DVGW standards etc.

CONCLUSIONS:

Ukraine actively participates in international and regional standardization organizations to ensure compliance of national RD with international (European) standardisation requirements

The adoption and implementation of national standards

harmonised with international and EU standards promotes the convergence of national standardisation system with international and European one

Experts of PJSC UKRTRANSGAZ are the members of the Technical Committee for Standardization that allows participating actively in national standardization issues

CONCLUSIONS:

The participation of UKRTRANSGAZ experts in international projects on scientific and technical cooperation in the field of standardisation enhances the possibilities of experience exchanging and the use of the achievements of other countries. It provides the Ukrainian gas transmission system to operate at the level of the international and European standards requirements
