INTRODUCTION AND GENERAL INFORMATION
The Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) Southern Africa will be hosting their Annual Pan African
Conference, Exhibitions and Procurement Awards during 24-25 May 2011.
In the past, this prestigious event was attended by more than 300 decision makers and officers in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management. You will have the opportunity to meet leading supply chain practitioners from a host of African
countries including Namibia, Swaziland, Lesotho, Ghana, Nigeria, Tanzania, Kenya and Malawi.

ADDED BENEFITS
Booking and paying for your stand, entitles you to a complete conference delegate list after the conference. You may also
provide promotional material to be inserted into the delegate packs, provided that the material reaches the coordinator by 11:00 on
Monday, 23 May 2011 at the venue.
EXHIBITION VENUE AND HOURS
The Exhibition spaces will be situated in the lunch venue and a draft floor plan of the exhibition venue will be provided on request. The final floor plan will be made available closer to the conference date. (Stand allocation will be on a “first come-first served” basis.)The Exhibition will be open to delegates from 08h00 to 17h00. All
tea- and lunch breaks will be in the exhibition area to ensure maximum exposure.
BUILD-UP AND BREAKDOWN
Exhibitors may commence build-up from 15h00 on Monday, 23 May 2011. The Exhibition will open to delegates at 08h00 on Tuesday, 23 May 2011. Breakdown may commence from 16h00
on Wednesday, 25 May 2011. All exhibition material and equipment must be removed from the premises on this day.
SECURITY AND INSURANCE
Security will be provided by the hotel as part of their standard service, from commencement of build-up to breakdown, however, the hotel and the organizers do not take any responsibility for any damage or loss of goods. Exhibitors are therefore encouraged to
affect their own insurance to cover all risks.
EXHIBITOR BADGESExhibitors booking Stand A (3m x 2m) will be provided with 1 name badge per day.
Exhibitors booking Stand B (6m x 2m) will be provided with 2 name badges per day.
The badge entitles the holder entrance to the Expo itself and all stipulated meals and refreshments.Exhibitor badges will be issued after full payment for exhibition stands has been received.
Included in the stand fee are: - Coffee and tea breaks in the morning and afternoon of conference days.- Lunch and soft drinks on both conference daysExcluded from the stand fee:- Accommodation- Awards dinner attendance.
Accommodation is for the exhibitors’ own account. Accommodation may be booked directly with Emperor’s Palace. If you wish to attend the Pan African Procurement Awards on Tuesday 24th of May, kindly contact Provision Marketing on [email protected]
Unfortunately, the following can not be allowed at any exhibition stand:
- Any serving of food and drinks.- Any other flooring than what is supplied as part of the package.- Banners will only be allowed inside your demarcated exhibition space.
