B1. HYSTORY BUTAN GRUP Company has been founded in April, 1999 of a nucleus of engineers experimented in the field of lifting installations (design and execution works). We started the activity right away and the first contract we had was with a multinational company called LAFARGE. In January, 2009, the branch office in Ploiesti has been established. We succeeded in implementing the quality system in 2001 and after that we had implemented an integrated management system: environment – quality – health & safety SR EN ISO 9001 : 2008, SR EN ISO 14001 : 2005, SR OHSAS 18001 : 2008. We have founded the Design Department and enlarged our production of lifting installations and auxiliary devices at our plant situated on DN 26 km.15.
Presently, our activity is structured on the domains presented in the chapter B3. B2. MANAGEMENT. HUMAN RESOURCES The company’s management is ensured by the Administrator - General Manager, followed by the Economic Department and the Project Managers. The total no. of employees for BUTAN GRUP is 128, out of which 96 are directly productive, having qualifications like: mechanic, welder and electrician.

B3. CURRENT ACTIVITY The company’s current activity is structured on the following chapters: 1. New Gantry Cranes and Cranes production; 2. Auxiliary devices for lifting installations like: installations with electromagnets, mechanic grabs, cross-beams, C devices, etc.; 3. Expertise for lifting installations and runways; 4. Updating the lifting installations the Beneficiaries already have; 5. Current repairs and Overhauls for Gantry Cranes and Cranes; 6. New runways execution for Gantry Cranes and Portal Cranes and updating the existing ones by introducing the elastic bracing systems; 7. Various devices mounting; 8. Steel confections; 9. Topographic survey for runways and Gantry Cranes and Cranes’ geometry; 10. Preventive maintenance, planned repairs and accidental faults removing (service). We only work with certified personnel, in the ISCIR authorised operating conditions.
