Background
Hamad Medical Corporation or HMC, is Qatar’s premier healthcare provider. It is a Public Sector
organization established by Emiri Decree in 1979 and reports to the Supreme Council of Health
(SCH), Qatar. Managing eight highly specialized hospitals with approximately 2,000 patient-beds
across Qatar, HMC is one of the largest employers in the Middle East with a human resource
strength of more than 20,000 individuals. It also operates the National Ambulance Service &
Home Healthcare Service.
HMC is looking for an integrated budgeting solution by which a collaborative budgeting program
can be established effectively. A non-driver based budgeting solution was required to automate
their current budgeting process & incorporate various reporting & statutory requirements.
