New Projects in Istanbul:

THE 3rd BOSPHORUS BRIDGE:The 3rd Bridge, Symbol of Modern Turkey, which is going to be built on the Bosphorus, Istanbul within the Northern Marmara Motorway Project is considered to be the future of transportation and commerce.The 3rd Bosphorus Bridge is going to be the widest suspension bridge in the world with a width of 59 meters and the longest spanning one that has a rail system on it, with a main span of 1408 meters. Another firstof the bridge is that it is the suspension bridge with the highest tower of the world, with a height of more than 322 meters. With its construction commencing in 2013 it is aimed to be completed in mid 2016.

THE THIRD AIRPORT:The 3rd Airport of Istanbul is one of the largest projects of emerging Istanbul. Planned for being the new hub for Istanbul’s heavy air traffic, the new airport will sit on an area of 35,000,000 sq.m. Having 6 x 3,500m runways, all of these runways can be used by the largest passenger jumbo-jet Airbus A380. This mega airport will be able to handle 150 million passengers per year, making it the highest capacity airport worldwide.

Aimed to be the center of finance and tourism for Europe, Asia and Middle-East thanks to this airport, the role of Istanbul in the Internationalaviation World will be brought forward.
