Term 1 Week 9 www.buckland.school.nz
27 March 2017
Dear Parents and Community Members
Tena Koutou.
School Values for the Term: Respect & Excellence 125th Celebrations—Photos of this day are available to be viewed on
our website under 125th Celebrations. Lost—a silver and black pearl pendant off a necklace. Please hand
this to the office if you find it as it is precious to the owner. Concerns/Complaints—If you have any concerns or complaints
please see your child’s teacher in the first instance. The school’s concerns/complaints policy is on our website—this has the steps that must be followed if you are unhappy with the outcome. Under no circumstances are adults to approach other people’s children on the school grounds. Staff must address the issues that happen in the playground/school. If your children have problems on the way to or from school please see the Principal.
The Professionals Pukekohe for the loan of their tent for the 125th
celebrations and to Mr Shorter for erecting this. Parents who attended the Reading Together session & to Mrs
Lindgreen and Mrs Robertson who took this session for parents. BOT Members for attending last week’s meeting. Mrs Fletcher and the prefects who attended the Auckland Travelwise
course and for sharing their knowledge with the school at assembly and staff at Staff Meeting.
Parents who attended last week’s school assembly. Parents who assisted with transport and supervision at the Rippa
Rugby event last week. A special thanks to Mrs Hiestand-Hutt, Mrs
Kelliher and Mrs Upfold who supervised for the whole day. Thanks
also to Ryan and Troy (Room 10) for their coaching and leadership.
