Poster free city:

Inauguration of poster free city campaign was done in Municipal Corporation, Eluru.

Hon'ble Mayor, Commissioner, Section heads and other elected representatives had

participated in the event. They inaugurated the event in a unique way by laying their

hand imprints around the globe which was painted on the wall of Municipal office. It

symbolises that they solemnly swore to protect the environment by banning these

posters completely and make Eluru a poster free city. Phase I of poster free city

campaign had already begun. Elected representatives along with Commissioner Sri Y.

Sayie Sreekanth had participated in removal of posters on the walls of government

offices and walls along major roads.

Nava Nirmana Deeksha:

Minister Sri P. Satyanarayana, Sri Jwahar MLA Sri Badeti Kotarama Rao along with

all the elected representatives and government officials has participated in

Navanirmana Deeksha at fire station centre in Eluru. They all took an oath of

making Andhra Pradesh Vision best country in India and best global destination in

line with Vision 2029 which was put forth by Hon’ble CM Sri Nara Chandrababu

Naidu.

For a Green ELuru:

MLA Sri Badeti Kotarama Rao, Co-opt member Sri SMR Peddababu,

Commissioner Y Sayie Sreekanth along with all the elected representatives had

participated in plantation of trees in eluru municipal corporation premises on the

occasion of world environment day. MLA Sri Badeti Kotarama Rao had said that

one lakh saplings will be planted in Eluru to make the vision of Haritha Andhra

Pradesh possible.

Extension of Roads:

Yoga Day:

MLA Sri Badeti Kotarama Rao, Co-opt member Sri SMR Peddababu Commissioner Y.

Sayie Sreekanth along with all the elected representatives had held a meeting

regarding the extension of 10 roads which are being taken up under smart city

scheme. The action plan is underway on the priority roads to be taken up during the

first phase of smart city.

Commissioner Y Sayie Sreekanth along with all the elected representatives and staff

had participated in yoga that was conducted in Kasturiba High school at Kotadibba

on the occasion of world yoga day.

Inauguration of Council Hall:

New council hall had been inaugurated by MLA Sri Badeti Kotarama Rao, MLC Ramun

Surya Rao at Municipal Corporation Eluru. Hon’ble Mayor Shaik Noorjahan, Co-opt

member Sri SMR Peddababu Commissioner Y Sayie Sreekanth along with all the

elected representatives and staff had participated in the event.

Distribution of Cycles:

Co-opt member Sri SMR Peddababu had distributed cycles to all the girls in Sri

Krishnadevaraya Municipal School as a part of state government initiative Badikosta.

Council Meeting :

Council Meeting was held in New Council Hall in Eluru Muncipal Corporation chaired

by Hon’ble Mayor Shaik Noorjahan. There were 16 topics in the agenda of the

meeting which were discussed by all the corporates.
