Brief overview

Department of Information Technology, Electronic and Communications (DITECH) in association with

Technical Education department and Industries & Commerce Department, Government of Haryana conducted

Startup bootcamps under Entrepreneur and Startup Policy 2017, Haryana. These bootcamps were conducted

in Government Polytechnique and it is in all 22 districts of Haryana.

These boot camps aimed to outreach and sensitize the students regarding Entrepreneur and Startup Policy

2017, Haryana and State efforts to promote entrepreneurship and innovation in the State. These bootcamps

will help in state-wide sensitization and awareness among the aspiring student innovators/ entrepreneurs

about innovation and Entrepreneur and Startup Policy 2017.

These bootcamps are being organised between September 09, 2019 and September 24, 2019 across each of

the 22 districts of Haryana.

The outcomes of these extensive bootcamps would increase the awareness about startup ecosystem, policies,

schemes & support being provided by central and state government.

2. Idéation Workshop

A dedicated ideation workshop was delivered to students for coming up with new ideas. Unlike traditional

brainstorming, ideation workshops are unique because they take place in unusual settings and introduce new

stimuli

3. Pitching Session

An interactive pitching session was conducted for the students. The session covered the essential elements

to be included while preparing an elevator pitch like problem statement, Solution, Market, Compétition

Analysis, Revenue model, Team, founders & Advisors and Funding.

During the session, students were given an activity to create a sample pitch desk for an idea. Winners were

given prizes.
