Prezi is a fun effective and engaging way to create a presentation. Although it was very hard to use at times I found the more I used it made it a lot more easier. It made it a lot more interesting for those reading my blog rather than having used the same software for each upload. It included a lot of different story boards where you could even edit to create it your own. There were so many aspects to Prezi from adding in images really easily to changing colours and background themes. I really thought it was a great software.

I used Powtoon once which was in my evaluation. I thought it was quite hard to use and so I found myself spending a little more time on it. However, it was a really funSoftware and was really interesting. I thought it was create way to engage the readers. The fact that music could be included was a really great feature so that readers don’t get board when they are reading, it also adds to the music magazineaffect. Powtoon allows you to add images/text/icons/fun moving images/clip arts making your presentation look that little more exciting.

Slide share is a self publishing website, it was also one of my most used websites. It was so easy to use. What the website allowed me to do was upload documents which I had created on software's like – PowerPoint/Word Etc. The outcome was that slide share didn’t change how the document looked, it was literally the same document on my blog. I will probably publish this document through slide share.

Voki was a new use of technology that I had managed. I had never come across itBefore I had started As media. I thought it was such a fun way in presenting yourwork. I loved the fact that you were able to customise your character and pick and choose their voice. However, sometimes Voki wasn’t able pick up some of thewords very clearly which id written in the text box although it was still understandable and you were able to preview your Voki before publishing it which was a good aspect.

When I was editing my photos in photo shop it allowed me to edit the image in waysthat other software's wouldn’t have been able to. For example, it allowed me make the image look sharper/brighter/touch ups on face and body and I was even able to change colours. Photoshop has been created by the adobe company similarly to InDesign. Whilst using Photoshop for the first time in media, it took me a lot longer to understand how it worked, however after I had played around with it for a little I then understood how to use it and it was quite easier than expected.

I had used InDesign before I started media a level in my summer holidays post AS so I could understand how it works so when the time had come it wasn’t as difficult and time consuming.InDesign had allowed me to create my complete magazine, from the text fonts to colours of writing. Although I did have some difficulties with the layering, I soon figured it out. InDesign isa software which you must not rush, you should take as much time possible into it so that youcan ensure you don’t overlap any layers which could become a catastrophe.

A professional camera was used to produce the images for my magazine. It was also used for my research. Using a professional camera help me out a ton when using Photoshop, because when I wanted my images to look crystal clear and this gave me the greatest outcome after editing compared to if I was to have taken the photos on an I-phone, you would have been able to see the quality difference and would have influenced my grade negatively.
