Positive CommentsMany people have said the film is very good. They say they like the editing of the film and think it is very sleek and productive. People mentioned they liked the soundtrack to the film and thought it built tension very well. “The film is very original and has a good psychological element to it” – mentioned one of the art teachers at the school. These positive comments have been very helpful for the production of the film and is great for us because we worked very hard for all the products and the film to be as successful as possible to make everything work.

Negative CommentsThere was not many negative comments about the film during the final draft but when making the other drafts when showing my teacher we did have some construction. “The plot was not very clear” – was stated many times when showing people the earlier drafts. These drafts did not have either narrative or important sound effects in it to tell the whole story. When we added these parts to the film I believe it rectified our mistake of the film not being completely understabdable.

Changes in FutureThe things I would do differently in the future when making a project like this is make more shots for certain scenes. There are parts of the film where we have filmed the part more than once to enhance the film in some sort of way and this has help a lot. Therefore, I feel if this was done with more scenes then the film could have been improved slightly. In spite of this, I think that we have made a very good short film and I am happy with both positive and negative comments received because it has helped us out in the long run.

Comments have Taught meThese comments have taught me many things. I believe without both side of the criticism the film would not be the way it is right now. Also, even though outsiders’ opinions count, I believe that our opinions as a group means a lot more. There were times where we would come up with ideas and blurt them out and try them and it could really work and have been put in the film. Then there has been other moments where it has not worked as well. With editing it has been a long process but being so critical with the editing has benefitted us very well and I think that we have made a very good short film.
