Resources and Supplies for Wire Art & Jewelry Making

HeatherBoydWire.com

Hello, my name is Heather Boyd and I am a wire artist living inMontreal, Canada. I have a Fine Art Degree from the University

of Guelph with a minor in Consumer Studies and Design.

In 1989 I gave up a stressful Artistic Director job in Toronto tobecome a starving artist and street vendor in Montreal. I soldmy hand-painted buttons to tourists and evolved into jewelrydesign. I began making wire jewelry when I met my husband

who was selling miniature wire bicycles.

For many years I sold at craft shows, festivals and boutiques.Notable clients included The National Gallery of Canada, Musée des Beaux Arts in Montreal and the Art Gallery of

Ontario in Toronto.

I am currently represented by the Viva Vida Art Gallery inMontreal in the West Island of Montreal. The gallery carries my

wire jewelry, bookmarks and also a line of mixed media wireand watercolour work. My husband and I sell our custom

wire wedding cake toppers and jewelry on Etsy.

I adore teaching and have done countless workshops inschools, libraries, galleries and even birthday parties. I

currently create wire Art & jewelry making tutorials on myYoutube channel Heather Boyd Wire
