Outcomes All iTFE First Aid courses are supported with teaching aids to assist with the theory and practical training modules such as CPR manikins, Automated External Defibrillator, Bandages, Visual Aids, Hand-outs, etc. as appropriate. Each participant will be provided with all of the intellectual materials required to study all modules. Courses HLTAID002 and HLTAID003 require participants to complete a pre-work component online prior to commencing training. Participants will be provided all necessary details when booking.

HLTAID003 Provide First Aid (First Aid Level 2)

This Nationally accredited course provides participants with an extensive knowledge of first aid and also incorporates HLTAID001 Provide CPR. This qualification is valid for 3 years and is the most update edition of first aid Australia. In this course participants will gain an understanding of:

General first aid practices;

Responding to an Emergency situation;

Contacting and alerting emergency response authorities;

Using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

HLTAID001 Provide CPR (this unit is valid for 1 year).

HLTAID002 Provide Basic Emergency Life Support (First Aid Level 1)

Basic first aid skills are an important requirement for numerous employment positions and industries. HLTAID002 Provide Basic Emergency Life Support (First Aid Level 1) also incorporates the Nationally accredited unit HLTAID001 Provide CPR. The HLTAID002 qualification is valid for 3 years. In this Nationally accredited course you’ll gain an understanding of:

How to handle and care for minor wounds;

Basic life support;

Emergency response techniques;

HLTAID001 Provide CPR (this unit is valid for 1 year).

HLTAID001 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

There is a huge calling in Australia for people to engage themselves with an understanding of CPR. This Nationally accredited course is valid for a year and will equip you with the skills to perform CPR. This course is perfect for people who have previously completed the Nationally accredited units HLTAID003 or HLTAID002 and are looking to refresh their CPR skills during their 3 year qualification period.

The Australian Resuscitation Council recommends that you attend a resuscitation update every 12 months.
