Youth News
The after school kids were very busy last
week. They packed all the bags for the
back pack program. What a sight to see.
They formed two lines and each put
something in the bag and sent it on to the
next person. They had to be careful and
be sure each tote had 10 bags in them or
someone would do without. Good job
guys!!!
Meet Our Youth Tony Western: Is in the 7th grade at
William James. His favorite food is pizza
and color is lime green. He has one dog.
Tony' best friend is Taylor and his
favorite subject is math. He isn't sure
what he wants to be in the future.
GOD’S LOVE
With the changes happening in our country today it is real easy
for us to want to speak out against those changes and we
should. Most of the changes that are happening are directly
opposed to God’s laws for man.
There is a need to turn this country around and move back in
the direction that God wants us to go. We should do what we
can by participating in the government when we are able and
voting. I think there is a better way to turn this country around
in a more permanent way.
This is by spreading the gospel starting right around us and
spreading out as we teach. But everything we do should be
motivated by our love and concern for the welfare of our fellow
man.
1John 4:8 Anyone who does not love does not know God,
because God is love.
Matt 22:36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the
Law?" 37 And he said to him, "You shall love the Lord your
God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your
mind. 38 This is the great and first commandment. 39 And a
second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
40 On these two commandments depend all the Law and the
Prophets."
Look at Christ’s description of the judgement in Matthew
25:31-40. What is His criteria for judging between the sheep
and the goats? It is the concern or love for your fellow man.
Our relationship with God is based upon love.
John 14:15 If ye love me, ye will keep my commandments.
John 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth
them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be
loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest
myself unto him.

Could your Savior ever forget you,
write you off, give you up?
No. No. A thousand times no!
He has “engraved you on the palms of
his hands” (Isaiah 49:16) – the nail
scars by which he won you for himself.
Continued From Page 1 God demonstrates His complete love for us.
Romans 5:6-8 For while we were still weak,
at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.
7 For one will scarcely die for a righteous
person--though perhaps for a good person
one would dare even to die-- 8 but God
shows his love for us in that while we were
still sinners, Christ died for us.
Christ died for all of us. Everyone in this
world. We need to do what we can to make
sure everyone gets the opportunity to
respond to this. Larry Osborne
