Come September every year I am given marching orders by my wife for blood test. Obediently the poor man goes for it.

Your creatine level is 3 and you must be under the care of a Nephrologist for the rest of your lifeAll new vocabulary. And now a Doctor, besides my wifes care. Oh God Help me!

To my shock in 2010, I was asked to report to the Lab again and informed about something as protein loss and advised to meet the Family Doctor immediately.

Unless you do a biopsy I cannot tell you anything or start treatment

Now I think Ercon you have to start with the Dialysis otherwise I will not get sleep

The word dialysis sends shivers down my spine

On July 2nd 2012, there seemed no escape for me. Dejected and taken to the Dialysis Centre to register and start my first dialysis. Met the smiley Technician who quickly made me comfortable.

An important routine is taking your weights before and after dialysis. This really bugs me.
