ERASMUS+ Program
What is Student Mobility Program?� European Union funded programme for student and staff
mobility.
� It is not a scholarship programme, encourages themobility.
� The programme covers associate, bachelor, master anddoctoral levels.
� Mobility period: from 3 to 12 months.(this period is including the possible planned placementperiod or period of participating the mobility withoutgetting Erasmus grant)

Student MobilityTerms of Participation
� To be a citizen of the European Union or Turkey.
� To be a registered student at higher education institution in Turkey even you
are citizen of other countries.
� Associate, Bachelor: CGPA must be at least 2.20/4.00.
Master, Doctoral: CGPA must be at least 2.5/4.00.
� Should know the host university’s language of instruction at least B1 level (CEF)
� To be completed minimum one academic semester for making an application.
� Erasmus Agreement must be signed which belongs to your department within
the application period.

Basic Rules
• Erasmus Programme is carried out by the EU Centre ay Yaşar University.
• There should be a signed Erasmus agreement between universities!http://erasmus.yasar.edu.tr (Partners)
• Erasmus Agreement must be signed which belongs to your department.
• Each agreement contains different numbers of student exchange. (Quota eligibility)
• To get at least 60 from English Proficiency Exam which is organised by Yaşar
University School of Foreign Languages. (Should be at least 70 for students who study
at Department of English Language and Literature, Translation and Interpretation)
• To be successful at Online Language Support exam (OLS)
• To ensure the CGPA average grade condition.

Basic Rules
• Candidates who found convenient to benefit from Erasmusprogramme being informed by the EU Center then they make theircourse selection from the host university with their Erasmusdepartment coordinators. Courses are mutually matched by checkingcontents. Evaluation is made towards ECTS credits.
• Prepared Learning Agreement is signed and approved by the student,the Erasmus department coordinator, head of department, ErasmusInstitutional Coordinator and host university’s Erasmus coordinators.
• It is essential that the recognition of all taken courses and credits.
• Students depend on the YU Education and Examination Regulations intheir course selections.
• Associate Degree and Bachelor: The minimum is 20 ECTS for asemester
Erasmus+ /On-line language support for Erasmus outgoing students (OLS)
Within the Erasmus+ period, students who will attend to Erasmusprogram (except speaking in their mother tongue), will be subjectto an online language exam before and after the mobility.These exams are applied in different six languages which areGerman, English, Spanish, French, Italian and Dutch.
There is a possibility to provide language support to studentswhose first exam grade is low.• If the student doesnt’t complete the first language exam, it is
not possible to sign a contract with the student and accordinglystudents are not sent abroad.
• This system has been developed to improve langaugeproficiency of students, to incerease the quality of mobilityand to measure positive effects of mobility.

� Applications: Calendar begins one year in advance!� The online application form should be prepared from the page
http://applyerasmus.yasar.edu.tr, printed, signed and submitted toyour Erasmus Department Coordinator by attaching all otherobligatory documents until the application deadline!
� The application form should be filled out correctly becauseincomplete students’ applications will be eliminated.
� Students may apply even having disciplinary punishment orhaving failed courses in advance.
� You are paying your annual tuition fee only to your homeuniversity!
� Available current scholarships continues at your homeuniversity. Read the scholarship directive! In case ofprolonged period, you may lose your scholarship at homeuniversity.
Selection of Students
�Grant availability and contingency list�«-10 Point» practice is implemented in the
selection of a student for each mobilitypreviously participated.
Academic Success Level: %50 Language Level: %50
You can apply both for placement mobility and for the student mobility
as granted student ☺☺☺☺
The same student, regardless of the type and number of mobility
activities, may receive grants up to a total of 12 months in each educational
level.

How much grant I will receive monthly?
• Grants varies according to the category of the destinationcountry.
• You will receive the grant according to number of months anddays you study at host university.
• Grants will be paid students before going abroad. (70% of theentire amount of the grant)
• The remaining 30% is paid when the student returned toTurkey. If the student fails from 2/3 total credits due to theabsence or not to fulfill their responsibilities in host university,the remaining 30% of the grant will not be paid to student.
• Accommodation, flight, insurance and visa costs are theresponsibility of the student.

While Abroad..
� Meeting with the host university's Erasmus Office� Application for residence permit (if requires)� LA Change (add-drop courses) preparation at host
university� Follow the courses, academic relations
� If the student failed (F) from anyadditionally tken course at hostuniversity, the taken course orequivalent course must becompleted successfully to graduate.
After Returning..
� Confirmation of Stay (should be signed and stamped by host university)
� Transcript of Records� Final Evaluation Form� Credit transfer, course adaptations� The remaining 30% of grant payments
