1 EOLO Star 24 3 E Wall-mounted instant boiler 1 FEATURES Wall-hung boiler for central heating and the instantaneous production of DHW, with sealed chamber and fan-assisted (type C 12 / C 32 / C 42 / C 52 / C 82 appliance) with nominal heat output of 23.8 kW (20.485 kcal/h), high-efficiency and fan-assisted circulation. e boiler is made up of: • stainless steel intake air multigas burner with 11 ramps, complete with ignition electrode and ionisation detection electrode, double shutter electric gas valve with incorporated modulation coil; • high-efficiency bithermal rapid type gas/water heat exchanger, realised in copper and made up from pipes inserted into a lamellar battery protected by an anti-corrosive alloy; • combustion chamber in stainless steel sheet internally isolated using ceramic panels; • stainless steel sealed chamber with fan for fixed-speed flue evacua- tion, pressure switch for the verification of correct fan functioning and of the flue exhaust/air intake circuit; • hydraulic unit made up from water collector, DHW circuit flow switch, system side absolute pressure switch, circulation pump, automatic by-pass, system filling valve, system drain fitting; • 6 litre diaphragm expansion vessel with 1.0 bar factory-set pressure, system safety valve at 3 bar and manometer; • over-temperature safety thermostat; • electronic ignition with ionisation control; • central heating system temperature adjustment buttons (+ and -), DHW temperature adjustment buttons (+ and -), main button with (Stand-by, Summer, Winter) function, Reset button; • control panel with microprocessor P.C.B. with 2 sensor continuous flame modulation (DHW and central heating) with modulation field from 23.8 to 11.5 kW (6.8 kW in DHW mode); • setting and adjustment of functioning parameters of the boiler using the keys; • self-diagnosis system with digital display of the temperature, status and functioning mode and error codes; • ignition delay device in central heating phase, anti-freeze protec- tion system (to -5°C), pump anti-blocking function, DHW post- circulation function, post-ventilation function, chimney sweep function, DHW anti-leak function, pump functioning mode selection, preparation for functioning with solar kit; • preparation for connection to the Digital Remote Control, with room timer-thermostat or wireless radio timer-thermostat; • IPX5D electric insulation rating; • possibility of recessing the boiler in the wall using a galvanised universal support frame (optional) complete with front panel; • connection group (optional): a connection group is available for wall-hung installation and a front and rear connection group for recess installation; • polyphosphate dispenser kit (optional), recommended in the pre- sence of water whose features can give rise to scale deposits. It has a bithermal rapid heat exchanger, which allows to quickly take the DHW to temperature at the time of withdrawal, thanks to its direct heating and also guarantees large production. EOLO Star 24 3 E is equip- ped with an electronic P.C.B. with microprocessor and control panel, complete with display, buttons for adjustment and setting the boiler's main parameters. e boiler also distinguishes itself due to the possibility of coupling, by the means of just two wires, to the new Digital Remote Control (optional), which allows remote control of the boiler controls and integrates a flow temperature modulation function and boiler self-diagnostics among the others. e appliance has IPX5D electric insulation rating: this means that the boiler is protected against jets of water and high humidity levels.

The EOLO Star 24 3 E boiler can be installed inside homes, outside homes (in a partially protected place) or recessed (using an optional dedicated recess frame).By varying the type of installation the classification of theboiler also varies.
OUTDOOR INSTALLATION (in partially protectedplace):AppliancetypeB22 - if installed using a mandatory relevant topcoverkit(optional),andtheexhaustterminal,byremovingthe two lateral caps present on the sealed chamber, in this case air intake takes place directly from the outside.AppliancetypeC12/C32 -ifinstalledusingtheverticalorhorizon-tal concentric kits, without the obligation to use the top cover kit (recommended but not mandatory), keeping the two lateral caps present on the sealed chamber.
