EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

Expression of Interest (EOI)is invited from the experienced consultants / firmsfor providing consultancy services related to Planning & Designing ofElectronic Surveillance System for Tata Memorial Hospital, (TMH), Parel,Mumbai.

Approximate area of the hospital complex is 08 lakhs sq. feet.

In general, the scope for the consultancy services may cover following:

A) Planning & Design:

1)

To survey & analyze the existing surveillance system at TMH and provideexpert opinion about its adequacy, functioning, etc.

2)

To provide expert opinion on upgradation, expansion & integration of thesurveillance system for entire TMH complex.

3) To plan & design the surveillance system for entire TMH campus.4) To prepare detailed estimation & technical specification for upgradation,

expansion & integration of the surveillance system.

B) Tendering & Execution:

1)

To prepare tender documents, scrutinize & evaluate the bids, prepareevaluation report & submit the recommendations.

2) To supervise the execution / implementation of upgradation, expansion &integration works, certifying the contractors work, billing, etc.

3) To test, commence & takeover the works from the contractor/s, preparingmaintenance manual / schedule, etc.

The applicants should have at least minimum 05 years of experience in handlingsimilar nature of the works.

The EOI shall be submitted in the enclosed prescribed Form- Aduly supportedwith the documentary evidence. Since the information provided by the applicantin this form will be considered for performance evaluation due care shall be takenwhile filling the form.

Interested firms shall download this application or may collect the applicationfrom the office of Chief Engineer TMC, Tata Memorial Hospital, 6thfloor, ServiceBlock, Parel, Mumbai - 400012. All the pages of this application shall be stamped& signed by the applicant.

Along with this application, the applicant shall submit Certificate of EthicalPractice as per the enclosed draft.

Sealed Expression of Interest (EOI) completed in all respects should be addressedto the Director, Tata Memorial Centre duly superscribed as EOI for Planning &Designing of Electronic Surveillance System for TMH, Parel, Mumbai. It shouldreach the office of Chief Engineer TMC, Tata Memorial Hospital, 6th floor,Service Block, Parel, Mumbai - 400012 on or before 17/07/2012 by 01:00pm. The sealed EOI will be opened on the same day at 02:00 pm. Therepresentatives of the agencies are welcome, to be present at the time of openingof Expression of Interest.

TMC will issue commercial bid documents, only to the short listed agencies at alater date.

Merely satisfying minimum criteria do not qualify the firms for issue of tender. Ifrequire, TMC at its discretion may inspect the sites & independently verify theparticulars submitted by the firms. If during the evaluation or after appointmentof the firm it is observed that the information furnished by the firm is/wasincorrect, the firm shall be debarred from taking up works at TMC & theagreement shall be terminated without any compensation irrespective of theservices provided by the firm till that point of time.

Director TMC reserves the right to reject any or all the applications withoutassigning any reason, in such a case the firm/s will not be compensated.
