Plaza The Plaza mixes simplicity with performance. Available in four globe sizes from 14” to 20” dia., this contemporary design will fulfill the design requirements for many of today’s lighting applications. Suitable for pole, crossarm, pendant and wall mounted conditions; the Plaza is the perfect specification for many shopping malls, parking lots, site and walkway lighting, museums, schools, libraries, theaters, high-end residential applications; and yes, Plazas. Constructed of high grade cast aluminum and finished with a durable powder-coated finish, the Plaza is built for all outdoor conditions, but is suitable for many indoor applications as well. With an optional internal refractor, Type III or V optics can be generated from the Plaza. And the Plaza is available in up to a maximum 200 watt Metal Halide or 150 watt High Pressure Sodium, but can also accommodate today’s Low-Energy requirements with up to 57 watt CFL or 140 watt CosmoPolis lamping. SpecificationsFixture Housing: One-piece sand-cast. Housing shall be corrosion resistant cast aluminum alloy #A356. The housing shall be free of any foreign materials or cosmetic fillers. Standard fitters shall slip over 3” or 4” diameter tenon. Please consult factory for other options. For other mounting op-tions, consult factory for installation. Optics: For vertical lamping option either an open lamp or prismatic borosillicate glass refractor is used and is fully rotatable on site.
Electrical Module: All electrical components are UL and CSA recognized, mounted on a single plate, and factory pre-wired. All sockets are factory pre-wired. A quick-disconnect plug for the ballast module is standard. Reference pages 2 and 3 for lamp characteristics, ballast types, and voltage technical data.
Lens: One piece lens shall be silicone gasketed all around (sealed from water and insect entry).
Finish/Color: Finish is super TGIC thermoset polyester powder coat. ELA offers RAL color matches along with our standard color selection. Custom and hand applied colors are available upon special request.
Certification: Fixtures shall be listed for outdoor, wet location. UL1598. IP rating 44.
CAUTION: Fixtures must be grounded in accordance with national, state, and/or local codes. Failure to do so may result in serious personal injury.
